    Data Entry Operator

    Centre for Environment Education requires a data entry operator. CEE Library is being digitized and the process of entering the library resource information into the software is under way. The services of Data Entry Operator is required the same.

    The job entails making entries of the books, journals, periodicals and other educational resources in the CEE Library software.

    The job demands that the person be comfortable with English (reading as well as typing). It also demands that the person be familiar with computers. Knowledge of library science and that of library software will be an advantage. 

    Consolidated contract amount (for about 25,000 – 30,000 entries) at Rs. 12,500/- for 2 months

    Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in any stream and functional knowledge of English. Good typing skills in English and working knowledge of computers

    Key skills for hotel managers

    Qualifications and training required

    Relevant work experience is essential for entry into the profession; this can include hotel, catering, retailing, waitressing or bar work. A hotel/catering management or hospitality qualification can be advantageous. Graduates with non-relevant degrees could obtain a postgraduate diploma in hotel management or build up an extensive amount of experience. A management, languages, leisure or business studies, travel or tourism degree may also be helpful.

    Key skills for hotel managers

    Reliability and stamina are essential in hotel management. You will also need excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills. Numeracy is particularly important for finance-related and office-based roles, while good interpersonal skills and customer service are vital for roles involving contact with clients. Knowledge of foreign languages can be an advantage.
